Astronomy as a hobby is gradually gaining interest in Australia, which in turn, brings a wider range of telescopes, binoculars and Astro accessories into the marketplace giving amateurs a greater variety of choice.
We are also fortunate in Australia to have a high caliber of Astrophotographers in Anthony Wesley, Paul Haese, Scott Alder, Bert van Donkelaar, Mike Salway and many others. All prepared to share their imaging techniques and lend a hand at Astronomy camps.
With quality imagers and helpful assistance, Astrophotography, in fact Astronomy in general, will advance in leaps and bounds among those willing to pursue our hobby.
The increasing availability of good quality, affordable equipment in Australia has also made this hobby more inviting to the general public.
Enjoy your visit here, and I hope you return regularly to take advantage of this service. Feel free to leave a message in the Guestbook.
